| 中文描述 | 是由大腸裡的TRICHURIS SUIS所引起的。經常發生在豬被安置在污染的環境裡之後2到3周。出生 2~6月的豬非常易受影響。透過觀察得知成群的鞭蟲使大腸發炎的診斷結果。診斷結果可以從糞便裡的卵得到確認，卵的排泄可能是零星的，並且經常根據診斷腹瀉的推測發生在幼小的豬且農場有鞭蟲的病史。可以由於傳染病混合其他有相關聯生物體。像類似豬痢疾。 |

| 英文描述 | Caused by TRICHURIS SUIS in the large intestine. Frequently occurs 2 to 3 weeks after pigs are placed in a contaminated environment. Pigs 2 to 6 months of age appear to be most susceptible. Dx by observing whipworms in large numbers in a diffusely inflamed large intestine. Identification of eggs in the feces can be used for diagnosis, but egg excretion can be sporadic, and often a presumptive diagnosis must be made based on diarrhea in young pigs on a farm with a history of whipworm. May be associated with mixed infections with other organisms. Resembles swine dysentery. |
